The Holidays Are Almost Here! ::

Believe it or not, the holidays are just around the corner. Now is the time to start thinking about your holiday advertising, social media campaigns, email blasts, holiday cards or perhaps a custom designed gift for your clients. While a standard holiday card will put you in good graces with your clients, dare to be different. There are many inexpensive and unique ways to get noticed around the holiday season. Perhaps this year, you send out a New Year greeting instead. Holiday cards can end up in a pile of clutter; but a greeting card in January can help get you noticed even after the  rush of the season is over. Give us a call to reserve your space—Elements is beginning to schedule holiday projects now!

We’re Writing the Book on Design, Literally! ::
Throughout the summer the Elements team has been hard at work on our book for Rockport Publishers, the industry leader in international design publications, titled Layout Practices for Graphic Designers. The book will be the go-to guide for designers as it outlines and details the essential design skills needed to succeed in the design trade. The books are project oriented but offer unique insights into strategy and business when working in the real world with real clients.

Once the ground thaws this winter, look for our book to pop-up in Spring 2012!

PROJECT
Logo design
Elements wanted to set Monroe Staffing apart with their logo by focusing on what makes them different—their primary business focus is on people and their relationships. The logo reflects this relationship and uses orange as a unique color palette to help it stand in their industry out and also forms the letter “M”. Elements also developed their tagline, “Powered by People”, which speaks directly to who they are and what they do.

Elements has redesigned their new website which will be launching in a few short weeks!

In June 2011, Elements received a Gold Award from the Connecticut Art Director’s Club for its Campy Party invitations. The invitations were sent out to announce the move from New Haven to our current location in Branford in August 2010.
