On this date forty-three years ago (September 26, 1969), the Beatles released their Abbey Road album. That album cover design – with the famous image of the Beatles walking across Abbey Road – has become a timeless iconic classic. There is even a webcam set up at Abbey Road in London which live streams brave tourists and fans trying to recreate that famous crossing while frustrated drivers whiz by.
