What do Tackwalls and dragons have in common…? They are awesome new items that we received this week at Elements! Ok, actually we got the boards a few weeks ago, but we’re excited that they were finally hung up this week! Since I started at Elements, we have been talking about putting up these giant cork boards for the design team to use – and we finally found them! Amy actually found them while thumbing through a Pottery Barn Kids catalog – but they fit perfectly in with our natural wood flooring and big empty wall space in our library. We just ordered another one for Ben to hang over his desk. The best part is, they were installed so that we can easily take them on and off the wall – tackwalls are even better when they are portable!
Now what about the dragons? In case you didn’t know, Amy is Super Mom. Not only does she plan super fun pink perfection parties, but she makes award-winning halloween costumes! Last year Addie and Cole were light-up robots and this year Cole will be a dragon and Addie a unicorn. Amy showed off a few of the awesome pieces that came in the mail this week including glitter high-tops for the unicorn costume and a dragon tail and mask – see tail image below! We also tried to spookify the studio for halloween. What do you think about our new additions to the studio!
