Gadget Review :: Easy-Macro – CelLens

One of my 2013 New Years resolutions is to take more photos. Whether it be on my iPhone or with an actual camerai {I swear, I still own one}, I want to document more of my everyday life. As some of you may know, this year during the holidays we all exchanged gifts here at Elements. Amy put it perfectly when she said ” I was so impressed, surprised and delighted at the level of thought each of us put into our gifts for one another – and we had so much fun plotting, planning giggling and wrapping our presents.” Everyone truly got gifts that they would love and enjoy.

That’s where my gadget review comes in. Melissa gave me one of the most thoughtful {and fun} gifts – an Easy-Macro CelLens for my iPhone! She knows that I’m always taking pictures around the studio for the blog and this little gadget takes your iPhone camera to an entirely new level. Essentially it’s a small rubber band with a macro lens attached to the middle. It’s marketed towards all camera phones (not jut iPhones) and is so simple to attach. It literally wraps around your iPhone like a rubber band. Then you align the lens with your lens and presto – you’re ready to go!

For those of you who aren’t familar with “macro mode” on a camera, its a setting that enables users to focus on subjects close to the camera lens. So this gadget allows you to get up close and personal with the littlest details while taking a photograph. Ok, enough talk – here are some pictures I snapped around the studio today.

First up our S’more Master Patch {which is on sale at our Goods Etsy Shop} ::

Well, what do you think? I’m actually hoping for a little snow so that I can capture some unique snowflake shapes using my new lens!
