I married an Italian woman and olive oil has become one of the centers of our culinary universe. We look for the “meadow” tasting ones – not a technical term 🙂 – but the most earthy, grassy, meadow-like ones we can find. Surprisingly, we find some of the best ones in places like Home Goods but unfortunately we’ve found nothing that comes close to the oil that comes right out of the press (which we got to do on a tour in Italy on year)!
