Winning Web Design ::

Elements was recently awarded a 2013 American Web Design Award by Graphic Design USA for our design of the TEA•RRIFIC! ICE CREAM® website. The award-winning website can be found at http://tearrificicecream.com.

The President of TEA•RRIFIC! ICE CREAM®, Mario Leite, started working with Elements a year ago and since then we have developed the brand identity and strategy, created the package design, print collateral, tradeshow materials, public relations materials, a social media plan/strategy as well as art and photo direction.

President Mario Leite has said “[t]he team at Elements is extremely professional and creative. They always hit the mark on design concepts and understand the needs of a growing business. They are a valued partner as we try to grow our brand and our business.”

Evolving Elements ::

Recently, Amy and Ben traveled to NYC to attend the Evolve Symposium. Evolve was a two-day intensive event that was specifically created for design agency owners and leaders. This event was perfect for us as we are always striving to learn and grow as an agency. We covered quite a bit of ground in the two days. Our topics of discussion ranged from our business models, organization and strategic partnerships to social media, content and strategic presentations and much, much more.

Here is just a taste of some key takeaways from Evolve. Perhaps they will spark something in you as well:

  1. Lead with curiosity
  2. Information will inform the action
  3. Through my knowledge and expertise of the industry, develop a clear, singular, own-able point-of-view
  4. Marketing is sharing, not selling
  5. Force yourself to talk to 10 new people each week
  6. Don’t be afraid to ask the tough questions
  7. Your website shouldn’t try to answer every question – it should entice. Say more with less
  8. Be creative, be generous, and make it matter

There was volumes more – but the above eight points stuck with me without even referencing my notes. We are excited to continue to grow and evolve Elements.

Featured Project ::

Client:
Expand International of America, Inc.

Project
Tradeshow Booth Design

Elements took on the challenge of designing multiple Tradeshow Booth graphics for Expand International of America, a company that manufactures and creates tradeshow booth and event display products.

Our client expressed that their target audience did not know all of the great services that they provide their customers with, such as unique original designs, shipping and storage, trade show support and so forth. Our goal for the Expand Tradeshow Booth was convey all that they do in a clear, powerful message. Our solution was to create a unifying theme we entitled “It’s Not Just A…” which featured the targeted messaging using all of their services as selling points. For example “It’s Not Just a Light – When It Illuminates Your Message” – this referred to their light boxes, spotlights and other display lighting.

In the News ::

Elements will be featured on the Communication Arts website as “WebPick of the Day” for the TEA•RRIFIC! ICE CREAM® website on Thursday, May 23.

We were also recently featured in Package Design Magazine for our recent award wins and Ben’s promotion to Design Director.
