Last Thursday and Friday, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore, MD, the largest natural, organic and healthy products trade show on the east coast.
Several Elements clients were exhibiting at the show, and it gave us a great opportunity to see some of our hard work in action. Our friends at Bellucci were working their booth, which Elements designed and coordinated the production for. Here are some detail photos of the booth:
The concept behind the Bellucci booth is to convey the connection between the people and the land of Italy, where all of Bellucci’s premium olive oil is sourced. Using Bellucci’s mobile app, customers can scan a QR code on the back of the bottle, tracing that olive oil back to the grove from which it was harvested. From the on-location photoshoot in Tuscany, we selected images for the booth that portrayed the intimate connection between the people and their land, and even the connection customers have between their bottle of olive oil they buy in the store all the way back to the fields where the olives were harvested. When you open a bottle of Bellucci, you can smell the fields and each drop is pure, aromatic and distinctly flavorful. My personal favorite image is of the Italian couple dancing in their kitchen. It evokes a true sense of human connection, which is an important aspect of the appeal of a product.
A tradeshow booth is a perfect opportunity to showcase a product – but more importantly – to let us in and tell us your story. Seize that opportunity with the right graphics, the right message and the perfect design. We’d love to see your company’s tradeshow booth, or hear about some successful booths you’ve seen over the years. Leave us a comment!
