If you were watching closely last week, you might have noticed that a newly designed Elements website snuck online. We announced our soft launch on Facebook, but today marks the official reveal to you, our clients and colleagues.
Earlier this year, Amy wrote a great series of blog posts on taking control of your website (check out Part 1 and Part 2 here). We have taken our own advice, and over the past year, we have significantly overhauled ElementsDesign.com to create a robust and content-rich website that more fully represents the work that we do as a creative communications agency.
The new site features a clean design with a deeper and more engaging portfolio, displaying lots of large images of our work, which is important because of the visual nature of our business. We have also refined our logo, updated our tagline and added a registered trademark (now we’re really official!)
There are two key sections: Work and Capabilities. Our Work section is broken down by client, and now features detailed case studies on the body of work completed for each client, including project objectives, Elements’ solutions and the results. Downloadable PDFs are available for those users who want to save or share information for future use. Sign up for our Good News email newsletter, as we’ll be updating our work section as we complete new projects and will send alerts when new work is posted.
The Capabilities section is an entirely new addition, and provides deeper detail of the wide range of Elements’ services, linking related blog posts and case studies to each service category. You might find a service that you didn’t know Elements offers, such as consumer marketing, or public relations, which weren’t featured as prominently on our old site.
We didn’t forget about our blog, Hello Elements – it got a redesign too, including the addition of Disqus, a commenting feature that makes engagement and sharing easier and more accessible.
“Here at Elements, we are always on the cutting edge for our clients – looking ahead to what’s new in the world of marketing and design, and bringing innovation to their projects. It is very exciting when we have the opportunity to bring that expertise to our own agency’s work, and this new website is a great example of this,” noted Amy Graver, Elements’ principal and creative director. “Our website has always been a strong sales tool for us, and I am looking forward to seeing the rewards of our our team’s hard work on the redesign.”
We would love to hear your thoughts on our new website – leave us a comment or send us an email.
