Fleur de Lys Floral is an upscale Parisian-inspired floral boutique that specializes in unique and distinctive arrangements for discerning clientele.
Fleur de Lys Floral’s owner inherited the brand when the business was purchased, and was fearful of losing the client equity if she changed was logo. However over the next few years, she established her own signature style for unique arrangements and decided a rebrand was needed. The old logo was fussy and difficult to read, but we agreed that the name should not change.
Our concept for the new logo was to create an elegant bouquet of flowers in the shape of a fleur-de-lys. The striped center flower represents the shop’s distinctive striped window awning. The logo was designed to be clean and modern and can be used with or without the typeface depending on the application. The use of purple is a nod to the original Fleur de Lys branding, but we refined it to a softer, sophisticated violet.
The new identity was extended to include a refreshed color palette; the logo was then applied to different touch points of the brand: signage, aprons, wrapping paper, stationery, vehicles and more. Elements prepared brand guidelines in a PDF, brochure and online e-resource with controlled access.
