Yale School of Nursing enlisted Elements to design and layout their 2016 Year in Review, which had the dual purpose of reporting highlights of the year while also being used as a marketing tool to spark interest for prospective students and donors.
While Yale School of Nursing wanted a fresh look for their brochure, it still needed to retain the consistent look of the Yale brand. We did this by stepping outside of the box with the color palette—introducing a broader range of colors than just Yale blue. We also used a unique die-cut “Y” on the cover that reveals an image on the first page; this represents the school’s approach to look closer and dig deeper into the issues that concern the medical industry in today’s global world.
The design of the Year in Review marketing piece received rave reviews throughout the School of Nursing, and across the Yale University.
